So, today is Tuesday, April 5th. Our next "big" trip is coming up at the end of June. It is still a couple of months out, but that means it's time to get started planning!
We will be making a 1600+ mile round trip to see my sister-in-law graduate from high school. This is huge because as of this past week, she has received a FULL scholarship to the school she wanted to go to. We are so proud of her and definitely want to be there as she closes the door on one chapter of her life and prepares for the next.
Being that we are so far away (13 hours aint no joke) it is not a last minute planning trip. A lot of time, effort and thought has to be put in it.
The good news is, we will be staying at my in-law's lake house, so we don't have to worry about hotel cost, not that it would be a major amount, but it still helps to save that money. Also, my amazing mother-in-law has offered to pay for a portion of our gas money, so we are looking pretty good.
Now, it's just a matter of what do we want to do and where do we want to go. We will only have 3 full days there, so, we are extremely limited. So, now it's off to watch the deal sites...
